Educational Institution names a department after Sonu Sood for his humanitarian work during the COVID-19 pandemic; read details – Times of India

Sonu Sood has won the hearts of millions with his philanthropic works for migrant workers, underprivileged people, students, and frontline workers, ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began in India. From arranging special buses to airlifting Indians from different parts of the world to providing jobs to many, the actor has left no stone unturned to help others.

To this, recently a Hyderabad-based educational institute, Sarat Chandra IAS Academy, Sarat Chandra Degree College, and Sarat Chandra Junior College has named an entire department after the Bollywood actor to honour his selfless work. Reportedly, the institute’s Arts and Humanities department has now been renamed as the Sonu Sood Department of Arts and Humanities, and now the pictures of the same are going viral on the internet.

Talking about it to an entertainment portal, Sonu revealed that he feels extremely humbled and grateful to have the opportunity and help others in need while this heartwarming gesture of the institute will continue to motivate him to help more people.

However, this is not the only time that the actor has received such an honour. Earlier, fans from all over India were also spotted paying tributes to the actor in several possible ways.
