My fondest memory would be when I met him to narrate the movie, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ after which it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

What is that one quality in Mr Bachchan that makes him stand out from others?
His thirst to take up new challenges as an actor, as a performer and keep going on from one role to another makes him stand out from others. If I have to make another choice, then it would be his voice. His voice has come to define great dialogues in cinema that reverberate across time.

What is your favourite Big B film?
My favourite Amitabh Bachchan movie is ‘Sholay’.

If you get an opportunity of remaking one of his classic films, which one would it be?
I would love to remake ‘Paa’. It is such a beautiful film about patience and parenting.

Which one Hollywood movie character would suit Mr Bachchan perfectly?
The Hollywood film I want to make with Amit Ji would be ‘Gran Torino’.

One message you would like to give him on his birthday this year.
God bless Amit Ji with good health and I want him to always keep working. Many filmmakers from the industry want to work with him. They too should get a chance to work with him just like I have been fortunate enough to work with him in the past and will be working with him in the future as well.
