As per a recent report, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has filed another affidavit in the Bombay High Court opposing Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut‘s plea challenging the demolition of her office and seeking Rs. 2 crores. However, the actress through her Instagram status has shared a special message for Maharashtra Government and BMC.

Kangana shared a Supreme Court case verdict on her Instagram story where rules regarding demolition are mentioned. The message explains how as per the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act 1888, the demolition can only be done by giving a person a 15 days notice. It further states that if the Municipal Corporation violates the process while demolishing a building but the structure is totally illegal. The message concludes by mentioning that the compensation can be claimed by the officers who have violated the law.

Kangana wrote, “A special message for Maharashtra govt and its pet BMC.” The actress has shared the same after BMC told the Bombay High Court to dismiss her plea demanding Rs. 2 Crore from them for demolition should be dismissed with costs. While addressing the message, the actress called BMC as Maharashtra Government’s ‘pet’.

During Kangana’s 4-day stay in Mumbai, she met Maharashtra Governor before she left for Manali.
