Sushant Singh Rajput case: High Court to hear Rhea Chakraborty’s bail application tomorrow – Times of India
Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on September 9 and her 14-day judicial custody ended yesterday. According to Times Now, Rhea’s hearing took place via a video conference and after hearing both the sides, her custody was extended till October 6. Since it was just a remand production there was no bail application attached to it, reported the channel. Apart from Rhea, her brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput’s personal staff members – Dipesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda have also been sent to judicial custody till October 6.
According to the latest updates in the probe, Times Now reported that several celebrities mentioned in “drug chats” are under the NCB’s scrutiny. The initials of five celebrities, namely – K, D, S, N, and J have been revealed and the report further stated that ‘D’ has been allegedly identified as Deepika Padukone while ‘K’ is Karishma, her manager. The Narcotics Control Bureau had summoned Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash and a talent management agency’s CEO Dhurv Chitgopekar in connection with its probe yesterday.
Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor’s names had also emerged during the probe and reports suggest that they will also receive summons from the NCB soon.
